Wilbert Stek was founded by Wilbert van Luenen and is located in Gendt, Gelderland. What once started with selling cuttings from Wilbert’s own car has grown into a specialized cutting nursery with a wide assortment, including Euonymus, Ilex, Osmanthus, Photinia, Thuja, Taxus, and new varieties such as Hydrangea and Hedera.

As a cutting company based in Gendt, we work with a close-knit team of permanent employees, students, and people with a distance to the labour market. Together, we provide healthy, top-quality cuttings for customers at home and abroad.

Before the trays go to the customer, they have to be complete. One of my tasks is to ensure that this is actually the case. I also make sure that everything is pruned.

It is very important to care well for the products. I therefore ensure that everything stays in good condition, from the unrooted cuttings to cuttings that are ready for delivery by giving them nutrients, water, crop protection and a little love.
